Medic 8 is an advanced life support ambulance that is currently assigned to EMS Station 3 in McMinnville, a station which is shared with the McMinnville Fire Department. On average, Medic 8 is the busiest ambulance in Warren County's fleet. Medic 8 is a 2003 model Ford E-350 chassis with a McCoy Miller Type III ambulance body. It is a sister ambulance to Medic 6, which is currently assigned to EMS Station 1 as a backup ambulance. Medic 8 serves the rural areas of Centertown and North Warren, as well as a large portion of the City of McMinnville.
Like all of Warren County's ambulances, Medic 8 features a full line of emergency supplies and advanced life support equipment, including a Physio Control LifePak 12 cardiac monitor, advanced airway supplies, IV therapy equipment, and various supplies used to treat and transport patients in all types of trauma and medical emergency situations.
